Paddy’s eventing career began with Kim in the fall of 2005 where he placed 1st in the Training division at his second competition. In a short 2-year period, Kim successfully transformed him into an Olympic qualified mount competing in FEI*** and CIC*** events. In April 2007, they placed 2nd at The Fork in North Carolina competing against 35 starters in the CIC*** division. This accomplishment was followed in May by a 5th place finish at Jersey Fresh, New Jersey, competing against 50 starters in the CCI*** division. The highlight was when Paddy astonished the eventing world by finishing in 5th place at his first CCI**** event in April 2008 at Rolex.
Kim and Paddy were selected for the U.S. Equestrian Team and compete in Lexington, Kentucky at the FEI World Equestrian Games in 2010.

The plan for Kim and Mighty is to be competing at the Advanced Level by 2013 (9 years old), in preparation for the 2014 World Games, and to ultimately compete in the 2016 Olympics in Rio de Janeiro (at 12 years old).
Mighty was discovered in Virginia as a 2-month-old colt, jumping over piles of grass in his pasture. Twiggy is very correct in her conformation with lovely natural movement and stunning good looks. She is an easy keeper, and has a great willing to please attitude! She jumps everything, point and kick, and has exceptional scope/bascule. Currently schooling at the Training level.
She was professionally backed as a 3 1/2 year old for 2 weeks then turned out to finish growing. She was slowly and carefully started on the flat as a 5 year old. She was started over fences in the early Spring 2009. Currently, she is ridden by a Young Rider, Gabby Dickerson, under the training of Kim Severson, who is amazed by her good looks and incredible jumping ability!
